My Facebook Response Concerning Whether Or Not I Participate In Meet Ups
“I’m not actively participating in any group meets. I’m very private when it comes to my paranormal world. It’s very personal to me and I’m not ready to join a meet up group right now, if ever.”
I mean I do want to go, don’t get me wrong, but I just feel that I have to reach a certain level before I can benefit a group and/or the persons that have invited us into their home, or where ever. I take the paranormal very very seriously, not saying that no one else does, but I strongly feel that I have to know more before I can experience any meets. Too many energies maybe? Maybe we wouldn’t attract as much or maybe too much. I found out recently that I was not attacked by a human spirit in the past. What if there are demons in the mix?! I have always been prone to receiving energy, so for me that negative energy is the absolute worst feeling that I have ever encountered. Long story short, I just can’t participate in a group meet. I would, however, like very much to apprentice someday soon. I think an experienced mentor would be ideal.

I finally got to talk to Jeff from that group He seems like a sincere person when it comes to the paranormal and He and I agreed on a lot of things it all depends on how you are comfortable in dealing with the paranormal if you feel you need to investigate on your own (not alone) make sure it is right for you and read a lot about how other investigations are done and the type of evidence gathering that other groups are doing. dont try and reinvent the telephone try to improve it A good place to start is the toronto ghost and hauntings research society or PSICAN they have a lot of experience but check out all the societies it is a real eye opener
Thanks for your feedback, John. Right now doing my own thing and getting my feet wet is where I am at and what I feel comfortable doing. I am very sensitive and would probably go off on my own and explore anyways. That’s great you spoke to Jeff. He was highly recommended by one of my facebook group members. I have seen PSICAN online thanks to google searches and facebook. I have already planned an investigation with a few of my family and friends this spring/summar. We may even put my glow in the dark or vintage ouijas to good use.
