I Googled A Haunting and came across this website that has a 1972 Kenner Blythe Doll featured with lots of Blythe doll information, Blythe Doll History, Blythe Doll Pictures, Blythe Doll news and Blythe Doll Ebay Auction listings for this strange, yet cute, Blythe Doll.  They are available for sale on http://bigeyedbuys.com

Apparently in 1972 the little kiddies could not sleep with them so they would place their Blythe dolls outside their bedroom door because they were so strange and scary.  I have to get one, maybe not a vintage, but a reproduction Takara Blythe doll  because they look very similar, at only the fraction of the price.  They are all available to purchase or bid on through  Blythebay.com too.

Dolls are often feared because they are empty vessels that are easily possessed.  There are many cult classics in the Horror Movie Genre that involve dolls and/or toys.  Puppet Master and Dolls comes to mind…  Anyways, I will email the website owner because she is from Toronto too and see if she might let me meet her and see these dolls she has.  She found 2 vintage  Kenner Blythes  right here in Toronto which belonged to 2 sisters, one is now dead.  She has a page about A Haunting Blythe dolls and she has some more of these stories listed.

I need more new shows now because it’s been over a year and it doesn’t look like it’s coming back anytime soon.  I bet it has something to do with that Paranormal State show that isn’t even a millionth as good!  I would rather that go off the air than A Haunting.  A Haunting has the best paranormal reenactment documentary shows and it’s scary as hell too.
